Terms of Service — One Thing

Last updated: 11 February 2026

These Terms govern your use of One Thing, a daily accountability app provided by Snowdrop Labs Ltd. By creating an account or using One Thing, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 (or 16 where applicable) and legally permitted to use One Thing.

2. Service description

One Thing lets you sign up, set daily goals or tasks, track completion, build streaks, and stay accountable. Data sync is provided via Supabase; analytics are provided via PostHog.

3. Accounts & security

  • Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account. Notify us of unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse One Thing. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Using One Thing unlawfully or to infringe others' rights.
  • Scraping, reverse engineering, or attempting to access source code or underlying databases.
  • Interfering with or disrupting the service, including attempting to bypass security controls.

5. User content & licence

You retain ownership of your goals, tasks, and accountability data. You grant Snowdrop Labs a limited, revocable licence to host and process it to operate and improve One Thing.

Snowdrop Labs owns One Thing, including code, design, and branding. You receive a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the app.

6. Payments

One Thing does not charge fees at this time. If we introduce paid features, we will update these Terms and present pricing and cancellation details.

7. Data & privacy

Your use of One Thing is subject to the One Thing Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

8. Availability & changes

One Thing may change over time. We may add or remove features, or suspend the service to address security or operational needs.

9. Disclaimer

One Thing is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. We do not guarantee that data will never be lost—keep your own backups of important accountability data.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snowdrop Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 3 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using One Thing or delete your account (in-app if available, or by emailing us). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the service. Upon termination, access ends and we may retain minimal records as required by law or for short-term backups.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales unless local law requires otherwise.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
